Children's fiction

'Science Geek Sam and his secret logbook' and 'Science Geek Christy and her eco logbook' (SPCK): In these adventurous novels Sam and Christy and their friends explore big 'science and faith questions.'

Creative partnerships

I have worked with A Rocha, ROOTS, God and the Big Bang, various primary schools and local churches. Together, we have set up and run writing, reading, nature and art sessions, science workshops and philosophy debates. We have also created resources and organised children's and youth events around science and faith.

I am a biologist (BSc/MSc) and philosopher (MA) from the Netherlands. I speak English, German and French and have worked in multiple countries. My passions are science, faith, creation care, writing and working with people of all ages. I also love art, wildlife and hiking. I am married to a vicar. We live in Gloucester with two of our three children.
